RC Pilot Opportunity

Scouts and/or Scout siblings:

The Lakeland RC members have an incredible offer to any scout or sibling under the age of 18.

Learn to be an RC Pilot!!! For free!!!

If selected, you will be paired up with a pilot/instructor. You don't have to have an RC plane or equipment. The club will pay all fees associated with being a member and having access to the field. Since the instructors would need to commit their availability, the same requirement would need to hold true for the scouts. Most likely, a scout would be paired with a particular pilot, and they would work out a schedule for getting together at the field. It would require a commitment by parents as well, for transportation to the flying field.

The club will be reviewing interested applicants for selection. This is a time sensitive offer from the Lakeland RC members. Interested scouts or their parents should contact: Holger Petersen Lakeland President 414-239-7890 holgerpetersen2e@gmail.com

Note: this is not a Troop 49 nor a BSA program.
